They're the best! Great lobster and crab legs. The servers are all top notch! It's a great place that doesn't break the bank. The salmon is also stellar and so is the filet. Check it out.
I stay at the South Point Hotel once a year for a work conference and I always try to work in a visit to the Silverado Steak House. This is a traditional steak house. Dark woods, coffered ceilings, sharp dressed employees, and exemplary service. We had a 5:00 reservation and I think they had just opened at 5:00 because I have never seen this place when it's not bustling. I'll keep this in mind when I'm back next year and making dinner reservations. We were served by Roxanne and Rey and they were an incredible team! The service was warm, solicitous, and efficient all at the same time. Both truly helped elevate our meal! We were seated and had menus, bread & butter, and waters in less than sixty seconds. Amazing service! The butters were presented in a cute flower shape and the bread basket had a few different types of bread. One was like a soft pretzel, one was a soft roll, and one was sweet & crunchy. The soft roll and the soft pretzel were our favorites. I chose the Argentinian skirt steak with chimichurri and mashed potatoes and my dining companion chose their 8 ounce filet mignon with mashed potatoes. The meals also included a salad that was prepared table side. That's always such a nice touch! My skirt steak was sooo tender & flavorful and the chimichurri was so fresh and added such a brightness to the beef. The mashed potatoes were very creamy and decadent. My dining companion reported that the filet was cooked medium rare to perfection and it was topped with a delicious melted butter. We ordered cocktails and those were brought so fast! If you're staying at the South Point, there is a coupon in the book in your room for Silverado Steak House for a free bottle of wine with purchase of entree. We asked if we could take it to go and so that's we did. The wine is Hahn Cabernet Sauvignon and it was good! This place is a great value considering the high quality of the food and the exemplary service. I hope to see Roxanne and Rey when I'm back next year. They really helped make this meal exceptional.
We have had our eye on this place for a long time! Finally we came to try and it is AMAZING! Some of the best in Las Vegas! The service was fast and friendly and offered great drink suggestions! I love that when you order steak, they do table side salad and it adds to the experience. It's a classy restaurant and a lot bigger than it looks from the outside. It's beautiful and we will 100% be coming back
The food and service is top shelf. The dining lounge is casual but dignified with an ambiance of formal dining. I had the NY Strip cooked to medium rare and perfectly seasoned. Of course the salad and baked potato was delicious too.
Had a wonderful dinner experience at Silverado Steak House. The front of the house, so very friendly and we were seated right away. Glenn was our waiter for the evening, but! Mr.CHAKER was a rock star! He provided outstanding service being so attentive, friendly and hardworking! Made sure our waters were always filled, checking to see if we needed anything, asked how we were..just a genuine sir and we thank you so very much for taking good care of our little family this evening. The food was delicious! And yes you will see a well done prime but this is my favorite! The end piece cooked quite well that it's just a little crispy, DELICIOUS! With a little horseradish and of course the au jus...what a great bite! The Argentinian skirt steak, beautiful dish and tasty! The salads were fresh and crisp! Our appetizer was the prime rib empanada..and it was just one big empanada...it was just ok tasting, a little bland. Love the variety of breads too~ A birthday crème brûlée for my mom, how sweet! Thank you so very much for tonight's dinner. We were very pleased and would definitely dine in again!
As a repeat customer, Silverado Steak House continues to impress me, and my recent visits were no exception. I dined here twice in the same week with friends, and each experience reinforced why this is my go-to steakhouse. It has that classic, traditional steakhouse feel, making for a warm and inviting dining experience. One of the things I appreciate most is the exceptional value--it's easily the best-priced quality steakhouse I've come across. The meal begins with an assortment of bread, and while they're all great, the pretzels are my personal favorite. For my entrée, I ordered the bone-in ribeye, cooked medium, which was perfectly prepared and packed with flavor. It comes with a tableside salad, which adds a nice touch of freshness, and a choice of an additional side--I went with a baked potato, which was a perfect complement to the steak. To finish off the meal, I had the cinnamon bread pudding, which was the perfect sweet ending. Between the great food, welcoming atmosphere, and excellent service, Silverado Steak House never disappoints. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
This review is the for the Christmas fixed price dinner. It's four courses plus a bottle of wine and coffee. This was a terrific experience and great food. The steakhouse gives you old school Vegas vibes with some Hollywood western (there's even a picture of John Wayne on the wall). You start with the bread basket - the pretzel bread was good but the walnut raisin bread was great. Next was the appetizer, I chose the lobster bisque with two little tacos (one had crab salad and the other stuffed with beef) - all great. I also tried the shrimp cocktail, which were giant shrimp that you dip in cocktail sauce or remoulade sauce - all yummy. Then, the salad cart arrived to deliver table side salad with champagne vinaigrette. The salad included some artichoke hearts and hearts of palm - nice touch. The ribeye arrived hot and a nice medium rare covered in grilled onions with green beans and a giant baked potato. This was tasty main course and a huge portion. If you went home hungry, then you have a bottomless pit for a stomach. Finally, the meal came with three options for dessert and I tried all three. In order of my preference (berry trifle, Yule Log, and sticky toffee pudding). The server kept the meal well-paced and not rushed. We could not have asked for a nicer Christmas dinner.
We have always had excellent meals at this steakhouse so an advance reservation was made via OpenTable weeks before our arrival. It happened to be a Monday night which allowed me, a senior, to pay our tab with half points. As is customary for us when dining here we each ordered and enjoyed rare 8 ounce filet mignon steaks that were accompanied by a table-side tossed salad and a delicious baked potato with all the fixin's. We accompanied the meal with a bottle of that month's featured, a Rodney Strong 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon, for an additional and quite modest $20.
We had our anniversary here. I ordered tha Chilean sea bass and hubby had the filet. Both entrees came with a generous plate of mixed salad... cold and crisp Thick piece of Filet done to med rare as requested, plus King crab Oscar My fish was not over cooked and had a generous serving of lump crab on top Both entrees came with a good serving of mashed potatoes Our waitstaff offered us a couple of glasses of sparkling wine but we don't drink so instead at the end of the meal he brought us a nice dessert to share! Very impressed with the 'attention to detail' from Silverado. Welcoming hostess, professional staff, skillful chefs and a relaxing atmosphere......made this evening into an unforgettable anniversary away from home!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Excellent meal! The service was fantastic! So was our dinner!! Loved their Caesar salad! The raw oysters were so delicious! And wow! The lump crab appetizer was the best!! Huge too! The skirt steak Argentina served with chimichurri sauce was "ok" the meat was a little tough and their rendition of chimichurri sauce was not very good. We love Argentinian food especially an authentic chimichurri sauce and Silverado's recipe needs some work. Highly recommend and look forward to coming back!!
